I received a message from Greg, an old friend of mine from many years past. To my surprise, he told me he was planning to propose to his long time partner Zsha, and needed my help to secretly capture the surprise proposal at Chinguacousy Park Brampton Ontario. To my excitement, I agreed to join in on the fun! With the help of my partner Jacob, a location scouting closest to the couple, some photo exchanges to pick the perfect spot for a surprise proposal at Chinguacousy Park Brampton, we got to work. Zsha was the funniest character. She loves having her photo taken at any moment. When Greg went down on one knee, Zsha immediately tried to pull out her phone to record the moment, not realizing that Greg had secretly hired me to capture the proposal the whole time. The suspense killed me when Greg stayed on one knee for over a minute. I actually thought she was saying no! But after some time, Greg managed to convince her to put her phone away lol. With an incredible amount of shock, excitement, and tears, she said yes! And as an added bonus, once I came up to her to show I captured the whole thing, she was even more excited that she didn&rsquo;t need her phone after all lol! The surprise proposal at Chinguacousy Park Brampton was a hilarious success. The weather was pleasant. The colours were vibrant. There was a natural mix of of laughter, jokes, and downright silliness. I love planning secret proposals for my couples. Their reactions are always worth the capture.

This is a story of how your girl hopped on a plane to capture a Dreams Cancun Mexico sunset beach engagement! As a photographer who has been capturing Canadian weddings for over a decade, this was my first outside the country destination wedding, and oh boy was it a ride!

Ksenia and Spencer had been together for over a decade, hoping to tie the knot on the beautiful beaches of Dreams Cancun Mexico. Unfortunately, COVID took their plans down a different direction as they were forced to reschedule 2 years later. With a lot of sweat, tears, and dramatic changes in life, they still stuck it out together, showing that their love can survive all storms.

Thankfully, we weren&rsquo;t met with any on the beautiful Cancun beaches at sunset. Just a couple of days before their knot was tied, Ksenia and Spencer joined me in frolicking on the beach with vibrant colours on their clothes, in their smiles, and in the vast Mexican sky. Showing up in a contrasting red and blue to go with the enriching colours of dusk, The Dreams Cancun Mexico sunset beach engagement was a session to remember.

Leyuan and Charlie did, and so much fun was had during their elegant Chinese wedding in Guelph Arboretum! Or rather, a pre-wedding you can say 😉

Leyuan always wanted an excuse to feel like a princess. She found a stunning gown online and just had to take the opportunity to run and dance with the light, billowing fabric. With the help of a friend, her partner Charlie, and their beloved dog Cooper, we set out on a journey to the beautiful sunlit green of The Arboretum in Guelph, surrounded by tall trees, lush hedges, and clear skies that shined throughout.

Guelph Arboretum provided the perfect backdrop for this elegant Chinese wedding shoot. During this stylized session, Leyuan and Charlie were able to have the freedom to be themselves without the family pressures on their official day. We ran, we danced, we jumped, we lay, and we laughed, and had a great time. The Arboretum in Guelph has always been a favourite space of mine to shoot portraits, and I always encourage future couples to come explore the beautiful green space with me sometime. 🙂
